Fernando was inspired to join C3 because of his background in Colombia, where his family comes from a farming community in one of the country’s most neglected areas. There, kids often face low chances of success due to few resources and crime. Through C3, he hopes to create opportunities and make education and growth more accessible. Outside school and C3, Fernando enjoys hiking, camping, and farm work.
